The warm, sunny weather is perfect for exploring the island’s beaches, where crystal-clear waters invite swimming and sunbathing. Spring generally offers a quieter experience with fewer crowds, allowing for leisurely exploration of historic sites, including the UNESCO-listed Old Town.
We prepared a 7-day itinerary-inspiration for you, combining the best of relaxation and adventure, perfect for your spring or summer getaway in our beautiful island.
Day 1: Arrival and Corfu Town Exploration

- We highly recommend spending a few nights in Corfu Town to truly enjoy its atmosphere. With timeless elegance and typical pastel buildings, Corfu Town offers a rich blend of Venetian, French, and British architecture. You will find many lively cafés, bars and restaurants with delicious local or Italian cuisine, as well as beautiful views of the Ionian Sea. We at Eternum Travel suggest checking out the area along Gkilford in the heart of Corfu Town. This beautiful street feels straight out of an Italian movie, with many great restaurants and breathtaking architecture. (secret tip: if you’re a pizza lover like us, you’ll love Rosmarino and Vesuvio. Both restaurants offer authentic cuisine in a romantic atmosphere that makes for a perfect dining experience.)
- Visit the Old Fortress, a 14th-century Venetian castle offering beautiful views of the town, and the remarkable St. Spyridon Church, which is the heart of the island’s spirituality. Take a walk along the famous Liston and relax in the gardens surrounding the Museum of Asian Art.
- Corfu Town comes alive during the warm summer evenings, offering a vibrant atmosphere and countless options for enjoying a glass of wine or a refreshing cocktail. Wine enthusiasts should definitely visit Salto, the finest wine bar in town situated near the Old Port. Alternatively, head to Naok Azur by the seaside, where you can sip on delicious cocktails while listening to great music, all while enjoying in the stunning views.
Day 2: Secret Beaches in Paleiokastritsa

- Situated in the northwest coast of Corfu, Paleiokastritsa is one of the island’s most unique destinations. The landscape features rugged cliffs that dramatically rise from the coastline, creating incredible views with many hidden beaches accessible only by boat. The surrounding hills are covered with olive groves and pine forests, contributing to the area’s natural beauty. This region is also famous for the 13th-century monastery. The area is generally great for water sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and boat trips.
- Renting a boat with Eternum Travel allows you to explore these waters at your own pace, visit hidden caves and beaches. With the option to drive the boat yourself or hire a professional captain, you can enjoy an unforgettable adventure.
Day 3: Boat Trip to Paxos and Antipaxos

- Join us on our boat trip to the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos, famous for its crystal clear waters and sea caves. If you’re spending even just a few days in Corfu, we highly recommend dedicating a day to explore this unique destination and discover the beauty of other Ionian Islands during your holiday. And if you’re a fan of Netflix’s Maestro, you’ll find even more reason to visit—this is an experience you won’t want to miss!
- No matter your budget or preferences, we will find an ideal experience just for you. Whether you choose a budget-friendly daily cruise or a semi-private adventure complete with a chef on board, our tailored visits to the beautiful islands of Paxos and Antipaxos promise to create great memories.
Day 4: Halikounas Beach and olive oil tasting

- Halikounas Beach is the longest beach in Corfu, uniquely situated next to both the sparkling Ionian Sea and the Korission Lake. This stretch of golden sand is perfect for relaxation and water sports, providing a peaceful retreat. Its favorable wind conditions make it a popular spot for kite surfing and windsurfing, attracting water sports enthusiasts. But even if you don’t participate in water sports, you can still enjoy this area with its long sand dunes and exotic vibe.
- Near Halikounas, we recommend visiting a traditional olive oil production farm where you can taste the finest local virgin olive oil with professional guidance, learn about the production methods, and much more.
- The rest of your day can be dedicated to beach relaxation, as the south of Corfu is a haven for sandy beach lovers. Explore spots like Marathias Beach and Issos. If you’re in the mood for a bit of more exploration, consider visiting the village of Notos. There, you’ll discover Panorama Notos—a unique escape featuring a botanical garden ambiance and a traditional tavern. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy lunch or a coffee in the shade of banana trees.
Day 5: Northeastern Corfu visit

- Begin your day in Barbati, a small village characterized by crystal-clear waters and green hills that rise dramatically behind it. Enjoy breakfast at Coffee Lovers, one of our favorite spots and arguably the best place to have breakfast or brunch in all of Corfu. Afterward, head to the beach to enjoy swimming, as it’s truly worth it. There are many stylish beach bars with sunbeds and a great atmosphere (make sure to visit Piedra del mar or Bahia mare). After enjoying the sea, head to Kassiopi, a charming fishing village known for its vibrant atmosphere and rich history. You will find a picturesque harbor lined with colorful fishing boats and many seaside tavernas. One of Kassiopi’s highlights is Kassiopi Castle, which dates back to the Byzantine era.
- Visit Old Perithia, founded in the 14th century. Old Perithia was once a thriving village that served as a refuge during times of conflict. It boasts a rich history, with well-preserved architecture that reflects traditional Corfiot design. The village has largely been abandoned since the 1970s, giving it a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. Located at the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, the village is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. After exploring Old Perithia, consider having lunch at “The Old Perithia”, a charming tavern with delicious traditional cuisine.
Day 6: Kanoni, Achillion Palace, Corfu Town and Sunset cruise

- Start your day in the Kanoni area of Corfu, where you can visit the stunning Vlacherna Monastery, perched on a small islet. This picturesque spot offers special views of the surrounding sea and is a perfect place for morning photos. Afterward, make your way to the Achillion Palace, a grand estate built for Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Take some time to explore the gardens, the palace and its stunning sculptures, which reflect the empress’s love of Greek mythology.
- Once you’ve soaked in the culture, head to Garitsa Bay for a seaside walk. As you walk, make sure to spot the only windmill in Corfu, which adds a charming touch to the coastal landscape. In the evening, experience a sunset cruise around Corfu Town. Enjoy the golden hues of the sunset as you sail along the coastline, sipping on cocktails and indulging in Greek finger foods. The experience of witnessing a Greek island sunset is unlike any other, and experiencing it onboard enhances the magic.
Day 7: Final Day – beaches, beaches and more beaches

- For your final day of holiday on Corfu, there’s truly no such thing as too many beach days. Consider Glyfada Beach, renowned for its golden sands and vibrant atmosphere. Here, you can relax on sun loungers, swim, or enjoy water sports for a bit of adventure. Alternatively, head to Agios Gordios Beach, a picturesque spot surrounded by cliffs, where the backdrop of colorful sunsets offers a perfect farewell to your holiday.
- Or, if you’re feeling adventurous and want to venture outside the island, why not escape to the Blue Lagoon Bay? Located near the coastal village of Syvota on the Greek mainland, this spot is one of the most beautiful in the region, making it a top choice for those looking to explore beyond Corfu. We invite you for a semi-private cruise, where, onboard, you’ll enjoy a delightful traditional Greek barbecue, and lot of relaxation and swimming.
It’s evident that Corfu offers diverse experiences, from breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage to culinary adventures.
